At a time when raising investment is difficult and cash is vital, it is more important than ever to understand fully the approach taken by investors when considering an investment opportunity.
In partnership with the British Business Bank, The Growth Hub Gloucester is bringing you Meet the Investors, an interactive Q&A session at the University of Gloucestershire Business School on June 19th.
They will be joined by Entrepreneur Reuben Wilcock who founded the award-winning smart home energy spinout; Joulo, then mentored over 250 entrepreneurs through his accelerator; Future Worlds. With a PhD in microelectronics, he has authored over 45 papers, holds five patents, and has led investments worth over £60m into early-stage companies as Head of Ventures at Blackfinch. They’ll also be joined by an Angel Investor soon to be announced.
This free event aims to guide you through the mind of an investor, explore their thinking when looking at opportunities, and question their approach or thoughts on your own business proposition.
A Networking Lunch will be provided after the Q&A session for attendees to chat with their peers and follow up any details from the morning.
There will also be fantastic opportunities for 1-2-1 meetings with the investors after lunch.
