Calling Gloucestershire businesses: Your invitation to the University of Gloucestershire 2024 Destination Marketing Showcase event

Final year University of Gloucestershire students are holding a showcase event to present their work focusing on the visitor economy. They have designed innovative new destination marketing material for the Cotswold Plas Local Visitor Economy Partnership area, spanning the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire and Dean-Wye areas.

This marketing material is all designed to attract specific niche groups of tourists and is presented by students who are due to graduate in the summer of 2024.

The designs will be of interest to anyone who has an interest in destination marketing, local economic development, tourism or hospitality across the Cotswolds Plus area.

The showcase event will be hugely important to students, and attendees are asked to engage with the students, ask questions about their work, and share their own viewpoints as active businesses in the sector or with an interest in the visitor economy. Students will be able to take on board the feedback and thoughts on their work before they submit their final assessment. For attendees, the showcase will be a unique opportunity to understand how others view the attractions and facilities that are available across the Cotswolds Plus destination area, while picking up some new ideas and insights for your marketing plans.
